The Learning Fables Series By Pegasus Commuications

The Learning Fables Series, written and developed by the brilliant David Hutchens, and published by Pegasus Communications. The first book, Outlearning the Wolves, has been a best seller for about 12 years. The whole series has a very timeless quality to it, and has gone on to be published in about dozen languages. The fables have been a hit because they seem to have a way of bringing home the point, and making the case for the different subjects they deal with. Hutchens and Pegasus Communications have been a wonderful team to work with. The Faith Journal Series by Tommy Nelson

My Faith Journal was the first book I ever had published, and My Prayer Journal was published a few years later. The series went on to be a best-seller for Tommy Nelson. Both books were written by a very sweet and talented woman by the name of Karen Hill. They can still be found in certain bookstores on the internet. They were in print for over 10 years.

Leading From the Lockers. These books were by John C. Maxwell on leadership for the early teen age group. There was both a journal version and a student version. I thought it was one the best books of its kind that I had ever seen. He did a great job. I just provided the interior cartoon humor.

Some old memories for my college days

I ran across some of my cartoons from my days as an editorial cartoonist while in college. What a fun job. I remember getting some stiff administration feedback one time for doing an editorial cartoon that suggested that skyrocketing school cost were somehow related to the enrollment numbers being down. I don't think the ACU marketing dept. particularly like the analogy.
